Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to ensure that the highest quality standards are upheld throughout our organization, product range and services.

The Quality Assurance Manager, will inspect our processes and procedures, manage an agile risk register, mitigate risks and highlight areas for improvement and suggested remediations. You will be thorough and observant with an eye for detail.

The Quality Manager, or Quality Assurance Manager, will be responsible for co-ordinating between departments to identify areas for quality/process/product improvement. You will track and report on process turnback’s, leaks and product trends raised through the technical support team.

The Quality Assurance Manager must fully understand the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the social care industry as a whole.

The individual will have a strong understanding of quality procedures, relevant accreditations and exceed at identifying important details and patterns. The Quality Manager will work closely with the Head of Product and Brand to implement strong quality assurance processes and embed these in the organizations day to day functioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
  • Work with Head of Product and Brand to evaluate business wide process and procedure to identify areas for increased efficiency and suggested remediations
  • Routinely inspect and evaluate our services ensuring quality assurance and compliance across all core functions are met and making recommendations for improvements where these are identified
  • To create, manage and maintain the Group master documents spreadsheet, ensuring compliance across all departments
  • Work alongside Chiptech’s IT Consultants to ensure IT and Cyber Compliance is maintained
  • Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Complete internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures and identify any outstanding risks
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Lead on RCA investigations to ensure the correct conclusions and remedial actions are considered and followed through
  • To be able to analysis reports, audit outcomes, non-conformances and investigate root causes.
  • Work with technical support and product team to recognize any problems such as product defects or bugs and conduct a thorough analysis to determine the problem, especially if it reoccurs
  • Ensure Chiptech maintain the relevant Quality accreditations, such as QSF, ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus as well as identifying and leading on the completion of other quality related accreditations
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate stakeholders
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
  • Support Sales with quality related bid and tender exercises

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
