Product Security

Chiptech products (and the end-to-end connectivity) have been designed to ensure that the required Cybersecurity and data privacy standards are fully met and our products conform to the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure Act.

Our products are periodically assessed independently by a Crest accredited cybersecurity auditor. Risks and vulnerabilities identified are resolved in a timely manner.

Chiptech provides regular free-of-charge updates to our products, often enhancing features and functionality. We provide our customers with full communication/notifications for any new updates with recommendations

The Security Update Support Period is defined as 6 years from date of purchase or until at least 1 Jan 2032.

Lodging a Security Vulnerability Report

To lodge a report about security vulnerability, please send an email to support@chiptech.com with the subject line ‘Security Vulnerability Report’. You should receive a confirmation of receipt within 10 working days.

Ongoing communication will follow to keep you updated at least every 10 working days. At any time, you can request an update by sending an email to support@chiptech.com with the subject line ‘Security Vulnerability Update Request’.
